Senior Citizens Community Center

The Sapulpa Senior Citizens Community Center, is located at 515 E. Dewey, just east of City Hall.

The Parks and Recreation Department administrative offices are located in the Senior Center and are open for business from 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday thru Friday.

All Seniors in the Sapulpa community are invited to call or visit the Sr. Citizen's Community Center to participate in any of our many programs. Our friendly, caring staff are always on hand to assist with programs and activities designed specifically with seniors in mind.

The Center offers: pool, cards, dominoes, bible study, movie afternoon, music concerts, and more. Relax, socialize and enjoy a cup of coffee. For those wanting to stay fit, tai chi, and line dancing, as well as health and educational workshops are also available. Our weekly schedule for activities is listed below:

All activities are ongoing at the Senior Center, and can be joined at any time.

  • Tai Chi - FREE - offered Mondays 3:30pm - 4:30pm.
  • Bingo - $3 per card - offered Thursdays at 9:00am.
  • Gifted Gabbers - (Free, will need to bring your own supplies, and projects to work on.) - offered Wednesdays 1:00pm - 3:00pm.
  • Arteries Art Classes - Takes place once every quarter, Contact Sheri with Sapulpa Arts (918) 224-0170 for dates and to register.
  • Line Dancing - FREE - offered Fridays 1:00pm - 2:30pm.
  • Senior Dances - FREE - Donations appreciated - every First & Third Friday of the month. 7:00pm - 10:00pm. Live Music and Refreshments.
  • Food Giveaway - Tuesday at 9:30am.
  • Other activities include - Special lunches, Birthday parties, Dominos, Cards, Billiards and much more!

Senior Lunch - Every Tuesday—Thursday at 10:30am. Enjoy lunch and socializing with other Creek County Seniors. 24 hour notice required if you plan to partake in the meals. Please call (918) 224-3300 to reserve your spot. Cost: $3.00 donation is requested to cover the cost of food supplies.

Tai Chi

Moving for Better Balance! Through simple, graceful movements that are easy to learn, Tai Chi builds physical stamina, improves one's balance, muscular strength, postural control, self-confidence, memory, and reduces the likelihood of falling. This Tai Chi program can be done from the standing or sitting position.

Join us for this FREE 12 week program, brought to you by Master instructor Gina Wozencraft with the Creek County Health Department.

Drawing on Memories

"Drawing on Memories" is a program for those in the early stage diagnosis of Alzheimer's and Dementia. The program is designed for those, along with their care givers to engage the mind through hands-on art activities. Class is offered by RSVP. Click here for more details!






The Community Center is available for rent for weddings, birthday parties, reunions, and company events as well. Click here inquire about reserving the Community Center for your next event!

Rental Information: $37.50 an hour (2 hour minimum), $25 flat rate fee for kitchen rental.
