Year round fishing opportunities are available at Lake Sahoma and a variety of streams and creeks comprising the City’s water sources. General fishing permits for ages 16-64 cost: Annual: $10 + tax; Daily: $2 + tax, and expire on the calendar year. Youth ages 15 and under, and senior citizens ages 65 and over are FREE.
Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Channel Catfish, Rainbow and Golden Trout, Perch, Blue Gill, and Redear perch can all be found within 5 miles from downtown Sapulpa. If you want to catch beautiful Rainbow and Golden Trout, you can do it right here in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Pretty Water Lake is stocked twice per month during the Sapulpa Parks Winter Trout Fishing Program. The annual season runs from November 1st to April 1st each year. Two family fishing derbies are held each year. These are fun events with special prizes and give aways. During this, our 10th season we will stock 8700 pounds of Trout, ranging in size from 10? to 25? and up to 9 pounds in weight. A Trout brochure and stocking schedule are available upon request.
The annual Catfish/Panfish season runs from April 14th to October 13th. Pretty Water Lake will be stocked with 2000 lbs of Catfish and 150 lbs of Panfish during the months of April, May, June, July, August, and September. Permits go on sale April 1st. Catfish range in size from 1lb up to 3lbs. Panfish weigh approximately 1/4 lb each. The annual Catfish / Panfish season will run from April 15th through October 15th each year.
