City Parks

The City of Sapulpa Parks and Recreation System has a total of nineteen (19) parks and recreation facility areas under it’s jurisdiction.  Fifteen (15) of these areas are currently “developed”, open and available to the general public.  These developed parks and recreation facilities total approximately 168 acres of parkland and 364 surface acres of water.

 

The City of Sapulpa also has four (4) additional “undeveloped” park and recreation areas that the Department oversees including Aaron’s Angels Park, Dorcas Park, Unnamed City Park, and Overlook Park at Lake Sahoma. These undeveloped areas total another 232 acres of land and 5 water surface acres, which are currently in various stages of development.  Some of these areas are open to the general public on a limited basis.

 

Sapulpa City parks range in function and size from small, one-acre tot lots to a large youth sports complex.  Pretty Water Lake and Sahoma Lake are utilized for outdoor boating, camping (tent and r/v, fishing, and hunting activities.

  9. Kelly Lane Park (1151 S. Park Street)
  10. Liberty Park (1400 E. Haskell Street)
  11. McGoy Park (139 N. Leonard Street)
  12. Overview Park (8800 Sahoma Lake Road) - Undeveloped
  13. Pretty Water Lake (13801 W. 86th Street South – on 86th Street / 1.5 miles West of Highway 97)
  14. Reynolds Park (13101 Ozark Trail / West of Highway 66 adjacent to old Water Treatment Plant)
  15. Sahoma Lake (8853 Lake Sahoma Road / 86th Street & Sahoma Road)
  16. Sapulpa Aquatics Center (1400 E. Haskell)
  17.  Senior Citizens Community Center (515 E. Dewey Street)
  18. Unnamed City Park (1500 E. Keystone Avenue) - Undeveloped
  19.  Wickham Park (1600 S. Hickory Street)
  20. Youth Sports Complex (1733 S. Wickham Road / 1 mile South of Taft/Highway 117)
